UK and USA flags

The prospect of a bilateral trade deal between the United Kingdom and the United States of America has generated much discussion over the past few years. While the two countries are unlikely to finalise an agreement this year, it remains all but guaranteed that the UK and the USA will enjoy a far closer trading relationship now that the UK has left the European Union.

This means that a lot of British companies will be looking to establish strong working relationships with American businesses, and vice versa.

How NPT Management Systems can help US businesses

If you're based in the USA and you're interested in working with British suppliers, we at NPT Management Systems can conduct a supplier assessment on your behalf.

We are based in the south of England, so by outsourcing your supplier assessment to us, you will significantly reduce the amount of travel required - saving you money and minimising your impact on the environment.

A quality management system (QMS) is a requirement for DVSA authorised audit providers.

If you wish to become an authorised audit provider for the DVSA's earned recognition scheme, you must either:

  • Have a recognised quality management system in place (e.g. one written in accordance with ISO 9001)
  • OR prove that you are working towards implementing a QMS within the next 12 months

We at NPT Management Systems can help you to fulfil this requirement and get one step closer to becoming a DVSA authorised audit provider.

We will work closely with you to devise a quality management system that is perfectly suited to your organisation's requirements. Once your QMS has been implemented, we can also help you to achieve ISO 9001 certification - this will make it easier for you to demonstrate that you meet the DVSA's requirements for audit providers.

Call NPT Management Systems on 02380 659 867 to find out more about our ISO 9001 services.
